My latest adventure into the world of crochet has been an interesting one. When I first learned to crochet, I didn’t know how to read patterns, so almost everything I made was made up out of my head. But once I actually figured out how to read and follow a pattern, I became addicted to patterns and the way they always (almost!) turn out right! So this time, I wanted to try and let my creative urges take over and be a bit more artistic than what I usually make.

Those endeavors resulted in this.

It reminds me a bit of a the plant Tradescantia pallida, or more commonly known as a Wandering Jew, (although that name isn’t very politically correct these days ), which is one of my favorite kind of plants.

I was inspired by this amazing Alpaca wool blend I got at Michaels the other day, and the rest just kinda fell into place. I think what excites me the most about this piece, is the fact that all the leaves are removable and can be placed on any flower. I’m a little in love with it. ~_~

PS. This post was brought to you by Christine! However, i was logged in as Joules and didn’t notice and now I can’t figure out how to change it ><
